About Us

We're a fun-loving group whose skill level range from beginners to advanced. Throughout the year we learn different painting techniques, methods and styles from talented teachers.
Our teachers teach in various mediums; acrylic, gauche, watercolor, oil, fabric dye, metallic, etc!
As individuals, we all have our favorite surfaces and our classes and seminars provide an opportunity to discover more painting surfaces...such as, wood, metal, fabric, glass, porcelain, canvas, furniture, even walls! We say" If it doesn't move...Paint it!"

We meet on the second Sunday of each month at 10 a.m.

Goals of our Chapter
To serve the growing numbers of painters
To recruit and expose new members/ teachers/ businesses to the SDP and its'  benefits
To make art accessible and affordable for youth
To complement the existing benefits of other local chapters
To encourage a wide variety of techniques & mediums

As a chapter, we look for local community outreach programs and participate in them. Currently, we are working on painting Treasure Boxes and donating them to the Shriners Hospital. We are also working with South County Outreach programs to help feed the hungry and homeless in Orange County.
